  • New Xbox Experience

    New Xbox Experience

This morning at the E3 conference, Microsoft announced the New Xbox Experience, also known as the new features and look of Xbox Live.  I’m really excited about this because the current blades system does not make use of its screen real estate very efficiently.  There is tons of wasted space towards the sides, mostly apparent in media blades.  I’m totally down for something fresh.  Let’s take a…

  • Canucks aftermath

    Canucks aftermath

After weeks of signings and trades, the Canucks saw their captain move to the Big Apple and the iron man reuniting with old bosses.  Everything seemed to be going down hill from here.  The Canucks had to build their offence, but went ahead to ship off two of their top forwards.  You know what?   Good riddance.

Nazzy was just not his old self, painfully obvious in his…

  • Rogers steps in right direction

    Rogers steps in right direction

Yesterday, Rogers announced a special offer for early adopters of the iPhone 3G or anyone who has use for data on their phone for that matter.  Beginning July 11 and ending August 31, you’ll be able to add a data plan valued at $30 for 6gb of downloads/uploads.  This is somewhat comparable with what AT&T offers because their “unlimited” plan is said to be capped at 5gb.  6gb is…

  • Learn to Park, Bitch!

    Learn to Park, Bitch!

So I’m sitting there in my parked car on the side of the road with an empty parallel park space in front of me.  A white BMW pulls up, almost positive it was a Chinese woman, proceeds to do her thing and attempt to get into the space.  As I take a look at the car, I knew this was going to get ugly.  The side of the car was…

  • iPhone 3G Failure to Launch

    iPhone 3G Failure to Launch

So it’s Monday the 7th of July, the second week in to July, and most importantly the week the iPhone 3G is officially released in Canada.  Or is it?  Unless you’ve been hibernating in a cave without internet, you may have heard something about the horrendous Rogers voice/data plans for the iPhone 3G.  There is currently a major backlash against Rogers in regards to this announcement causing insanity throughout Canada.…

  • Farewell Nazzy

    Farewell Nazzy

After spending 12 NHL seasons with the Vancouver Canucks, our beloved captain has left the team to join the New York Rangers.  On Thursday, July 3, 2008, he agreed to terms with the Rangers worth US$8-million over 2 years.

First of all, Nazzy didn’t really have a choice to stay as Canucks management didn’t even make him an offer.  The coach, Alain Vingneault, and Nazzy didn’t…

  • Movie Weekend

    Movie Weekend

Dropped by Rogers Video (a corporation I should really boycott because of recent announcements) and picked up 10,000 BC and Vantage Point.

The first movie, 10,000 BC, was a snooze fest.  Luckily, the blue-eyed beauty, Camilla Belle, kept me from snapping the DVD in half.  The movie had no flow and a very predictable story line.  Skip this.

On the other hand, I really enjoyed Vantage…
